The 37th Annual Woodstock Folk Festival will be held on Sunday, July 17, from Noon to 6 p.m., on the historic Square in Woodstock, Illinois. Local, national, and international artists will perform in a variety of musical styles, from Afro-Cuban to blues, traditional to contemporary folk music. Main Stage performers will include Rod Abernethy, Tricia Alexander accompanied by Alpha Stewart, Jr., Rene Avila Group, Megon McDonough, Tia McGraff and Tommy Parham, Katie Oates accompanied by Parker Foley, Small Potatoes, South for Winter, and Cassandra Vohs-Demann accompanied by Joe Pesz and Jim Seidel. Wattle & Daub will be the Featured Performers at the Open Mic Stage. Chuck VanderVennet and WFMT’s Rich Warren will co-host the Main Stage; Gloria Burchfield and Mark Lyons will co-host the Open Mic Stage at Stage Left Cafe. In the event of rain, the Festival will move across the street to the Woodstock Opera House.
