Meet Your Local Shelters

Come meet some of the incredible organizations working every day to give animals a second chance at life! Four local shelters will be at the Co-op to share their missions, answer questions, and introduce you to a few of their adoptable pets. While the event is focused on awareness and education, you may just meet your future furry friend!

Joining us will be:

• Young at Heart – Providing senior dogs and cats with safe, loving homes or sanctuary care in their golden years.
• Glory Bound Rescue Ranch – A no-kill haven for horses, dogs, farm animals, and more, rescuing those who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused.
• Animal House Shelter – Rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats of all breeds, giving them the chance for a brighter tomorrow.
• Helping Paws Animal Shelter – McHenry County’s first no-kill animal welfare association, giving second chances to over 800 animals each year.
