Join us as we celebrate One City, One Poet with a poetry picnic at the park inside the Woodstock Square. Readings, performances, food, and poetfriends!
We usually celebrate the end of our One City, One Poet festival with a crowded indoor open mic and party . . . but covid has encouraged us to embrace the outdoors. So we’re taking the party outside this year! Our poetry picnic will include:
-Readings of Ursula K. Le Guin poems
-Reading YOUR postcards to the future
-Local poets performing their original work inspired by Le Guin
-Grazing boxes available from Fork It (Pre-order only! Use this link:
forkitfoods.com/store/c11/Woodstock_Poetry.html)
-More assorted poetry nonsense
So join us for a relaxed, outdoor, physically distanced, poetry party. We’ll chill out in the Woodstock Square park, eat some food, and play with poems. We’ll start taking orders for grazing boxes from Fork It closer to the event date, and we’ll include the link to purchase . We’ll have the boxes waiting for you at the event. Please bring your own beverages
