Woodstock Community Choir – Spring Concert

Woodstock Community Choir – Spring Concert
Sunday, May 7, 2023 | 3PM
Shining a Light on Mental Health
Presented by the Woodstock Opera House

Music is what our feelings sound like, and it frees the mind. The Woodstock Community Choir is bringing May’s Mental Health Awareness Month to the forefront of their upcoming concert, “Shining a Light on Mental Health”. You are invited to enjoy this FREE, uplifting performance on Sunday, May 7th at 3:00 PM at the Woodstock Opera House.

Under the creative direction of Cassandra Vohs-Demann and Assistant Director Jessica Buehler, the choir will also be welcoming a representative from the McHenry County Mental Health Board to share important information about resources and education available to those in need of services.
Once again, the choir will be accompanied by the stellar sounds of band members, bass guitarist Jim Seidel, Joe Pesz on drums, and guitarist Rich Prezioso. For this special event, they welcome Gloria Peetz on piano. The choir also enjoys connecting with its patrons, so audience participation will be included.
Treat yourself and your family and friends to an afternoon at the beautiful Opera House on the famed Woodstock Square for an afternoon of mental positivity, hope, and light.
