“Chalk”, a Post-Apocalyptic Mother/Daughter Play by Walt McGough
COMING IN MARCH TO THE WHS BLACK BOX THEATRE, AN INDEPENDENT PRODUCTION: Maggie survived the end of the world. But now her daughter has returned to their hiding place and something’s wrong about her. The pair square off with both of their lives hanging in the balance, kept apart only by their past and a protective chalk circle. An intense, dystopian, sci-fi fable, “Chalk”, written by Walt McGough, explores motherhood, responsibility and working to overcome barriers on a deeper level.
Directed by Billy Seger, with Violence Design by Lexi DeWitt, Sound Design by Joel Bennett, Stage Managed by Savannah Thomas and starring the mother daughter duo Marisa Snook and Zero Snook, Chalk is showing for 3 performances only, March 21 at 7pm, March 22 at 3pm and 7pm at the Woodstock High School Black Box Theatre.
