Woodstock City Band

Celebrate summer with one of Woodstock’s most cherished traditions, the Woodstock City Band Summer Concert Series. For more than a century, this hometown ensemble has brought generations together for live music on the Square, creating the perfect midweek outing for families, couples, and visitors alike.

Concerts take place Wednesday evenings in June and July and feature lively themes, familiar favorites, and classic bandstand tunes performed in a relaxed outdoor setting. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, enjoy an ice cream social hosted by local sponsors, and soak in the charm of a summer night in the heart of Woodstock on the Woodstock Square.

This long-standing program is made possible in part through support from the Illinois Arts Council Agency, helping keep this musical tradition strong for the community and welcoming for visitors.
