Sound in the Sand

Each year, Soulful Prairies Equine Gestalt Therapy and Retreat Center in Woodstock, Illinois, hosts Sound in the Sand, a beautiful and peaceful evening event which combines sound therapy of the gong with the gentle nature of the horses surrounded by the glow of five hundred candles. In preparation for the busy holiday season, the gong’s sounds and vibrations have a quick effect on the brain and can be an effective way to reprogram the body’s vibrations for a more optimal state of physical and mental health. The event is held in the arena and attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather. Net proceeds from the $5 registration fee will be donated to a local charity.
