Unity Spiritual Center of Woodstock invites you to a day of unity, collaboration, and heartwarming celebration at our “World Peace Day” event. Our vision for World Peace Day is inspired by the United Nations’ International Peace Day. It’s a collaborative effort engaging leaders, businesses, and faith communities from across our area. Our goal? To promote connection, community, and support for peace and mental wellbeing among our residents.Here’s a taste of the harmonious day that awaits: Heartfelt Performances: Our gifted musicians from Unity of Woodstock will provide a soulful soundtrack of live music to uplift your spirit and infuse the air with serenity. Activities for Kids: A variety of engaging and fun activities will be available to keep the little ones entertained and create memories that they will cherish. Chalk for Peace: Let your kids express their hopes, dreams, and messages of peace on our communal sidewalks using colorful chalks. Insightful Presentations: Look forward to an address from the Mayor of Woodstock, along with other local leaders and faith communities. Student Peace Essays: Hear the inspiring words of our three Woodstock student peace essay winners. Music and Meditation: Immerse yourself in the calming rhythm of music, followed by a tranquil meditation session.
