Dufield Pond Conservation Area

Dufield Pond offers a peaceful retreat for both anglers and nature lovers. The Country Club Road entrance provides access to a 7-acre fishing lake stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, channel catfish, and yellow perch.

The McConnell Road south entrance, opened in 2013, features a scenic 0.75-mile nature trail winding through mature oak woodlands and rolling terrain. Interpretive signs along the path help visitors learn about native trees and the site’s diverse ecosystems—including pond, wetland, and woodland habitats.

Whether you’re casting a line or enjoying a quiet walk through the woods, Dufield Pond is a hidden gem worth exploring.
