The Green Spot carries gently used books for adults and children along with gift items such as puzzles, stationery items, and more. The Green Spot has been a project of the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County since 2010. The gently used books are all donated and the workers at the store are volunteers. We strive to provide high quality used books and select new items in our store, as well as maintaining a large “Clearance Corner” in suite 113 for discounted books.
