The Moose is about celebrating life together, serving those in need within our local community, supporting our children at Mooseheart and standing by our senior members at Moosehaven. In our Lodge, you will find a wide array of activities to participate in both as an individual and as a family. From holiday parties, dances, sports, themed dinners and live entertainment, the Moose has much to offer. We serve lunch Tuesday – Saturday. Every Monday evening is a different dinner, and every Friday evening is a Fish Fry. Inquire with the bartender, or any member on how to become a member.

The Moose Lodge at Woodstock was founded January 25, 1918 with a total of 54 members. The early days of the Woodstock Moose Lodge were located on the Woodstock square in various buildings called Viking Hall, Zoia Building, Waverly House, Joslyn Building, Hay Building, Kuby and Stafford Building. In August of 1947 the land was purchased for the present building at Clay and Hutchinson Streets with ground being broken in 1950. They had to tear down an existing building to begin construction on an addition to the building was added in 1957 and again a building was demolished to make room this time a laundry. This addition made the Lodge approximately 20,000 square feet on two levels.
